Mac n’ cheese with cauliflower sauce Flavoured With Black Truffle Oil – Profine Food Stores – This is a great dish for all children


          4 Serves                      

  • Half cauliflower, sliced into pieces
  • 1 cupgrated cheese
  • 1 tspmustard (optional)
  • 125g pasta shapes
  • 4 cupsmixed frozen vegetables
  • 1/4 cupdried breadcrumbs
  • Black Truffle Oil – 2 TS Profine Food Stores


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Bring a large pot of water to the boil
  3. Add cauliflower and cook until a fork can be inserted into the cauliflower easily
  4. Remove the cauliflower from the water and bring back to the boil
  5. Place the drained cauliflower, cheese, mustard and ½-1 cup of the cooking water into a food processor and blend until very smooth
  6. Add water to thin the sauce until becomes the consistency of a thick soup
  7. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until tender then drain
  8. Mix the sauce, pasta and mixed vegetables together and place in a large baking dish
  9. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs
  10. Bake for approximately 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and steaming hot.
  11. Now add 2TS Black Truffle Oil on top of your food. Enjoy ,
